Unlimited advanced signatures: how is that possible?

Other platforms issue a digital certificate through a Certificate Authority for every advanced signature, so every signature has a real cost. Asignu reaches AES a different way: strong authentication (2FA or SMS OTP), a unique reference ID binding each signer to the document, SHA-256 tamper detection, and a platform-level seal with a trusted timestamp. With 2FA the marginal cost is effectively zero, so there is nothing to meter.

Why would we trust a European SME platform over DocuSign?

Everything is hosted in the EU, with a documented DPA and full sub-processor transparency. Support is a direct human, not an outsourced helpdesk. And the product was built for teams of five to fifty rather than retrofitted from enterprise software, which is why setup takes minutes instead of a rollout.

Do we actually need QES, or is AES enough?

AES covers the overwhelming majority of business documents: employment contracts, client agreements, HR paperwork, accounting documents. QES is only required where the law names it: notarised deeds, powers of attorney, and from 2027 Portuguese PDF invoices. We will tell you which one you need before you buy.

What does switching from our current provider cost?

Assisted migration is included. We move your templates across and help you set up the same signing flows. Your existing signed documents stay valid and downloadable wherever they are stored.

Where does our data live?

Inside the EU/EEA. Nothing is transferred outside without a recognised safeguard, either an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses. We publish our sub-processors, and an independent penetration test of the signing workflow is underway.

What is a signature invitation, and what if we go over?

One invitation is one signer asked to sign one document. Starter includes 100 per user per month, Professional 150, Business 200. Documents, templates and advanced signatures themselves are unlimited. The invitation allowance is the only counter, and we will talk to you before it becomes a problem.

HOW IT IS POSSIBLE

Unlimited AES is not a discount. It is a different architecture.

Other platforms charge per advanced signature because each one issues a digital certificate through a Certificate Authority. Asignu does not need a per-signer certificate. AES status is reached three other ways.

Strong authentication

The signer proves who they are with an authenticator app or an SMS one-time password before the signature is applied.

Unique signer binding

Each signer is tied to the document by a unique reference ID, recorded in the audit trail alongside IP address and device.

Tamper-evident sealing

SHA-256 hashing of the original and signed file, a platform-level PAdES seal, and a timestamp from an independent authority.

When the signer authenticates with 2FA, the marginal cost of a signature is effectively zero. That is why we can include it without a counter, and why nobody else can.
